“Nigerian Leaders Are Baphomet Members & Satanic” – Femi Fani Kayode

Former aviation minister Chief Fani Kayode is back with his latest article.
The article aimed at wishing Nigerians Merry Christmas is titled hope springs eternal joy.

Read it below:
There is so much death in this country. So many tears. So much evil. So much betrayal. So much sadness and so many tragedies.
So much corruption and deceit. So many shattered dreams, broken hearts and wounded souls. So much injustice and insensitivity. So much greed and want. So much bloodshed, blood-letting and blood-spilling.
Welcome to Nigeria- the Federal Republic of Shattered Dreams.
A country in which sadism, failure, iniquity, injustice, wickedness, persecution, cover-ups, lies and abuse of power are enthroned. A land in which “men of God” do not pray but instead sell the anointing and buy private jets. A country where common decency, kindness and human compassion has no place. A nation in which the rulers pay homage to the baphomet and make open sacrifices to Satan.
A country where ignorance and mediocrity is exalted and in which excellence and knowledge is scorned. A nation in which truth has no place and in which those that tell it are hated and treated with contempt. I weep for my country and each day I pray that God delivers her from the blood-sucking and relentless demons that plague and afflict her. Yet, despite all, hope springs eternal.
Today our nation stands at a crossroad and it is left for us to decide which path we choose to take. Do we take the path of despair and dishonour and give up on our country? Or do we rise above it all and latch on to the promises of God for our land
and for our people? With biting poverty, mounting
hopelessness, a bleeding economy, youth restiveness, unprecedented violence, brazen acts of terrorism and all manner of vices and evil thriving in the land one wonders how things got so bad.
The foundation for our current situation was laid many years ago and since that time we have seen so much suffering and failure at virtually all levels. We were plagued with leaders who lacked vision, who lacked intellect, who lacked sincerity of purpose and who were antagonistic to those that dared to challenge their visionless and purposeless policies. Our country is currently bedevilled with so much negativity that it is easy to look around and just give up. Yet I say that we must never give
up because ”hope springs eternal”.
The bible says though the night may be dark yet ”joy comes in the morning”. The wise ones say you cannot have a message without a mess. You cannot have a testimony without a test.
You cannot get to the top of the mountain without first going to the bottom of the valley. This is true. And out of Nigeria’s ”mess” shall surely come her ”message”. Out of Nigeria’s ”test” shall surely come her ”testimony”.
We have been to the ”bottom of the valley” and therefore we shall get to the ”top of the mountain”. Our dream for a better Nigeria shall never die and neither can our collective prayers be
in vain. I refuse to give up because I know that the God that I serve never fails. He alone rules in the affairs of men. He alone forges the destiny of nations. Out of a deep void and formlessness He ordered the creation of the world. He established it by the power of His word and He gave us dominion over it.
In the same way He created Nigeria for His purpose and for His glory and that purpose and glory shall surely be established. It shall come to pass and it will be manifest to the entire world. We
shall see it and we shall be established in it as a nation and as a people. If God can do it for others, He can do it for us too. We can be great and, by the grace of God, we shall be great. This is
my dream and this is what I see. And believe me when I tell you that it is prophetic.
A Nigeria where every man and woman, regardless of faith, ethnicity, status or political persuasion finds a common cause and relishes in our collective humanity. A Nigeria where the rich have a conscience and the poor have hope. A Nigeria where joy and peace reign supreme and where bombings and killings are a thing of the past.
A Nigeria where the descendants of Ishmael and Isaac and the adherents of the two great Abrahamic faiths of Islam and Christianity live together in peace, harmony and mutual respect.
A Nigeria where the secularity of the state is respected yet where God is revered and honoured by all. A Nigeria where the knowledge and fear of the Living God reigns in the hearts and minds of the people.
A Nigeria where every man is His brother’s keeper, where leaders show compassion to those that they lead, where justice is done to all and where political persecution has no place. A Nigeria where decency is rewarded, where dissent is tolerated,
where non-conformity is encouraged and where equity is enthroned. That is the Nigeria of my dream.
A Nigeria where youth unemployment is low and where every individual, no matter how high or low, can aspire to any position and live his or her dream. That is the Nigeria of my dream. A Nigeria where human life and human dignity is sacrosanct and where fairness is the watchword of every soul.
That is the Nigeria of my dream.
I have no fears about the future of this great nation because the God that I serve never fails. The bible says the nations are ”as a drop of water before Him”. He sits above the circles of the earth
and He counts the earth as His footstool. Yet despite His sheer awesomeness and majesty, with Him lies great compassion and mercy.
Once we return to Him, acknowledge Him, honour Him and are led and guided by Him, He will restore us and shower us with His blessings. The Lord awaits us to make the right choice. We
either continue to wallow in self-delusion, wickedness, greed, murder, the persecution of perceived enemies, the abuse of power, evil and insensitivity or we desist from our wicked ways
and turn to Him.
I am persuaded that once we make the right choice our date with destiny, as a people and as a nation, will come far sooner than we can possibly imagine. In his book titled ”The Wretched of
the Earth” Frantz Fanon said the following- ”each generation must, out of relative obscurity, discover it’s mission and fulfill it or betray it.” Past generations in Nigeria have not lived up to
expectation. This is the bitter truth.
Yet there is still hope as long as we have faith. That hope and faith is our blessed assurance and it lives in our minds and hearts. We know that the Lord will fix it. We know that He is ”more than able”. We know that He is a man of war whom none can resist and we know that He restores, redeems and rebuilds even the most broken and wretched walls.
Dr. Martin Luther King jnr., after delivering his celebrated and inspiring ”I have a dream” speech, was felled by an assassin’s bullet on April 4 1968. To those that killed him, his dream died with him. Yet they were wrong. They did not know that great
dreams, once birthed, never die. That is why the Word of God said ”if the princes of this world had known they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory”.
If those that murdered Jesus, and the devil that inspired them to do it, had known that He would honour His word and rise up three days later they would not have crucified him. They persecuted Him, they humiliated Him, they beat Him, they
tortured Him, they spat on Him and they killed Him yet they could not kill His dream or abort His mission. His dream lived on and became a reality for all mankind to see.
It was the same with Martin Luther King. They killed him but his mission had already been achieved and his vision came to pass 45 years after his sacrificial and selfless death. This is indeed the stuff of which dreams are made. Great things are
birthed in great dreams and if you dare to dream nothing is impossible.
I have a dream for Nigeria. I have a dream that one day Nigerians will see themselves as Nigerians before anything else and they will not regard their country and its people as a collection of strange bed-fellows that do not love or trust one another.
Yet this dream can only be fulfilled when those amongst us that call ourselves leaders preach, practice and display discipline, temperance, holiness, morality, restraint, tolerance, mercy and
the fear of God in the conduct of our affairs. It can only be made manifest when we stand up and fight against evil, tyranny, injustice, indecency bad governance, the abuse of power , political persecution and sheer wickedness.
Our dream can only be brought to reality when love is the motivating factor in all that we do. The Lord commands us to love our neighbour as we do ourselves. That is the cornerstone and the foundation of our faith and it is in that faith and that resolve that our hope for a better and greater Nigeria lies. I have a dream that Nigeria will be what God wants her to be, a great and powerful nation that is dedicated to the Living God and that
will act as a shining example and a beacon of light for all to see.
I assure you that despite the dashed hopes and unbearable suffering of millions of our people over the last 52 years, our dream still lives and the Lord shall not forsake us. Our land and our people may seem blighted, in despair, depressed, repressed and confused. It may appear as if there is no hope for a better tomorrow and that nothing will ever change.
It may seem as if the Lord has forgotten us and it may appear that our story is one of recurrent failure and shattered dreams.
Yet this is not so. I have come here today to tell you that, despite all we see and hear, it is not over for us as a people and as a nation. I have come here today to tell you that we as a people have a date with destiny.
I have come here today to tell you that Nigeria and the Nigerian dream lives on and that it shall be made manifest for all to see in the fullness of time. I therefore urge you to be strong, to hold
your heads up high, to be proud of who and what you are and to stand firm. The vision is for an appointed time. Though it may tarry it shall not prove false. Just hold on and always remember
that, despite all, ”hope springs eternal’. God bless you and God bless Nigeria.

Merry Christmas and happy new year.

“Nigerian Gays & Lesbians Pester Me For Sex” – Hairy Queen Okafor

As earlier reported, Nigeria’s hairiest woman, Queen Okafor has become a celebrity due to the abnormal hair growth on her body.
Looking at her, one would think she is a man, but she is a full blooded woman.
In a recent interview conducted by Christian Agabide of The Sun, 26-year-old Queen Okafor talked at length about her encounter with homosexuals who pester her for sex.
Narrating her experience, Queen said she started noticing the hair at unusual places at the age of 21. According to the Anambra State born lady, she has seen the good, the bad and the ugly because of her abundant hairs.
She said she has become the cynosure of all eyes wherever she goes, sometimes to her utter embarrassment. At one time, she narrated how a gay person approached her to have anal sex with
her, promising to pay her a princely sum of N500,000.
She said this was the most terrible encounter she has had on account of her hairs. She, of course, refused the offer. She said even lesbians also “toast her” to hangout with her because they
found her attractive in both ways, both as a man and as a woman.
When this reporter met Queen in a bus going to Oshodi from Mile 2, in Lagos some months ago, passengers were starring at her embarrassingly. As the lady tried to hide her face, more eyes were on her, thus arousing much interest from co passengers.
Queen eventually opened up to this reporter, maintaining that she was not using the story to beg for money or as a form of publicity stunt, but only to draw the attention of NGOs to fight for women with such rare disability as hers. Queen believes that she is a normal person with unwanted recognition from the society.

She told Sunday Sun: “My name is Queen Nonyerem Okafor. I am from Anambra State. We are five children from our parents, three girls and two boys. I inherited the hairs from my mum and
it runs in the family. Once you get to 21 to 23 years in our family, you start experiencing hair growth. I am 26 years old now, when I was in secondary school, much hairs were not on my body. It started when I finished my secondary school. I am not granting you this interview as if I need help or money, no! I want to tell my story and what it means to be a hairy woman.
All I need is for an NGO to take up my case as a woman with abnormal conditions and also to act in the movie industry.”
She revealed to Sunday Sun that the change on her skin initially made her uncomfortable, but following advice from good people, her confidence was boosted. In her words: “The first time it started to grow on my body, I was ashamed, but
someone advised me that I shouldn’t bother, that it is a blessing not a curse. The person told me that I am unique, besides, wherever I go, I would be recognised. She advised me that I shouldn’t be ashamed, rather that I should be proud of myself. It was her that gave me strength and boosted my self esteem.
Some people think that I am a man. Some think I fixed my breast to deceive people.
Men especially find it difficult to believe that I am a woman. It was when we interact that most men are reassured that I am a woman. It has made me to be very popular and recognised in public. It has boosted my confidence to socialize. People want to
identify with me to know the stuff I am made of. Some want to find out where this girl is coming from. People call and dash me money because of my hairy nature, but I don’t beg for money.”
Queen said she tried to stop the work of nature by applying all sorts of cosmetics and native substances, all to no avail but it turned out to cause more harm than good. “Before the advice
came, I was asking God why all these now? I was thinking of what to rub to clear the hair from my skin. I rubbed tortoise faeces and a lot of things people recommend for me to use, but it didn’t remove them, rather it caused more harm than good as I started growing bumps and sores while the hair was still coming out.
So, I stopped rubbing those things. I suffered those lumps trying to stop the growth,” she narrated.
She revealed that her worst time comes when the weather is too hot and during the dry season. “When there is much heat, I feel terrible, it doesn’t itch but it really inconveniences me most
times. That`s why I have to wear or put on light cloths because sweat soaks my dress when I go out.
Once you see me, you know that heat is dealing with me as a result of my hairy skin. I used to shave it off but if I want to shave all, it will cause me lumps all over my body. She said she had not taken the medical option seriously. “I have not gone to hospital. I don’t care anymore because it is from within my blood and it is hereditary. I don’t need it because I can`t be using my money on something that refuses to free me. A doctor
had advised that surgery can remove it, but not in
Nigeria.Maybe outside the country, but I am not interested.”
Queen revealed that her hair has not changed anything in her love life, neither does it stop men from admiring her, rather it has turned many heads to look at her.
“A man that is meant for me will come when the time comes. It is not a problem. I will get married, after all, there are other disabled people that are married despite their condition. When I was 18 or 19 years old, I was supposed to have married, but it was just that the man was a hot tempered person. He was my suitor and we ended it there. He was seeing the hair coming little by little. People are appreciating me and a lot of people are still coming for my hand in marriage.
I have been seeing many men coming to ask me for relationship, even one claimed he is from a Europe that he came back to Nigeria to look for a woman to marry. But most men just want a fling, they don’t want serious relationship. I was doubting if he was real or not. I have admirers just like every other girl. Most times, I have admires more than normal girls. But most men are not sincere, my mother would say that love is not by lip service.
I have been hearing things like, I want to marry you, but after sleeping with you, the man will end up dumping you for another woman. My boyfriend likes me the way I look and I have not
been dumped because I am hairy. Men don’t break my heart. I don’t trust men easily because I wouldn’t allow myself to have emotional breakdown. I can`t wait for my heart to be broken. In my village, an old woman has advised that she knows that I am not yet married, but I should believe that my own person is coming.
She said that when my husband will come, I will find it difficult to believe that the man is my own. She told me that is how her own daughter looks. But now I have come to appreciate how I am created,” she said.
Narrating her most embarrassing moment in high density locations like market places, she disclosed that people crave to see her face.
“I came to Lagos last year to see whether I can stay in Lagos or not. Other times I have been coming and going. But the truth is that I have been enjoying my stay in Lagos now because
something good is happening. Anytime I go out, people will notice my presence and look at me. For instance, the first time I went to Ladipo Market, people besieged me, both traders and touts snapping me with their phones and video.
You would be shocked how they gathered and caused chaotic situation that day, you would have written it as big news, to the extent that I went to a shopping complex and they started clapping for me, calling me Eze Nwanyi, which means Queen.
They were hailing me so much. It was the most embarrassing day of my life. The traders and touts left what they were doing to follow me around and saying all sorts of things, if not for one man that offered to give us a lift, we wouldn’t have escaped
those boys. There was a time I went to Alaba International Market with a sister and traders were peeping through the window to see my face and they were saying, ‘she is all hairs oh!’ Someone has stepped down from a bus because of me, a
lady. Both of us were entering a bus at Mile 2 and immediately she glanced at me she changed her mind and immediately alighted from the bus despite that the bus conductor was urging her to enter, that was the only time someone refused to ride in the same bus with me.
Queen whose dream is to become an actress, said she was forced to resign because of sexual harassment from her employer.
“If I have the opportunity of becoming an actress, I can do that but it is to get the right person to help me. I need somebody to help me because I am perfect in everything I do. I need someone to put me through but people tell me that for some producers or directors, all they are after is to sleep with you. I have not encountered that yet, but people have been telling me to be careful. People get easily attracted to me.
The dark complexioned Queen shocked the reporter with her revelation on how homosexuals plead to take her to bed. She also explained why she pierced her nose. “Why I pieced my nose was because it is fashionable, though I know I look weird already, I don’t give a hoot. It is my body, I accept the fact that I am strange. A woman has toasted me at Elegushi Beach while I was there with my friends. On that day, she called me and gave me her complimentary card and begged me to hop into her car, but I refused. She insisted and begged to be my friend, but my mind told me that she is a lesbian and she was inviting me to Ajah. I turned her offer down because I know that most
lesbians are into cultism. Some women will see me and extol my qualities, saying that they see women with hairs but that my own is the highest. In fact, one said I am the queen of hairy women.
I met a guy at a supermarket and he was obsessed about me, before you knew it, he started telling me that he liked me, that I am beautiful and all that. Normal toasting, I thought he was like every other man as usual, but after the toasting, he went straight to the point, to tell me that he would like to have sex with me through my anus, promising to give me half a million naira. But I rejected it immediately, God forbid! I can`t tamper with my
anus. I stopped seeing him and refused to pick his calls. I can`t do that.
Another man begged me to bear him a child that will look like me, also promising to reward me handsomely. When I am praying, I plea with God to help me overcome them. Nobody can rape me because I am fearful, but men see me and get
sexually aroused because I look special because of the hairy skin, but I have not been embarrassed or raped. Being hairy gives me protection as people see me and get afraid of me.
Those guys who attack people see me and hail me. They will not like to do anything bad to me.

Nigerian Woman Lost 7-Month Pregnancy After Lebanese Boss Kicked Her Stomach

Mrs Alexandra Ossai, a 7-month pregnant woman has lost her pregnancy after a brutal attack by her Lebanese boss in Lagos state Nigeria.
Kaveh Noine, a Lebanese businessman allegedly kicked his employee in the stomach.
Ossai, who until December 13, 2013, was a supervisor with a Lebanese owned firm, Toppan Printing Company, alleged that Noine assaulted her many times during her eight months stay at
the company.
She has undergone an emergency medical operation as her placenta was said to have been damaged.
She said, “I started working at Toppan in April. I earn N17,000 salary and work from Monday to Saturday. Anytime Noine was annoyed, he would beat the person he was angry with.
Sometimes, he would throw whatever he can lay his hands on at the person. Prior to that incident, Noine had slapped me many times.
“Noine had said he would hold me responsible for the shortcomings of the people I supervised. As a result, I often assisted my subordinates in their duties to make sure that Noine had nothing to complain about.”
On the 12th of December 2013, Ossai alleged that Noine got angry when he saw something on the floor.
“It was a container for a drug. That is what we do; we produce packets for drugs and perfumes. So when Noine saw one of such packets on the floor, he was so angry that he gave me a blow to the chest,” she recalled.
She said Noine subsequently went into his office and typed a termination letter for Ossai, which she refused to sign. Her refusal allegedly enraged him further and after verbally abusing her, he was said to have told her that it was her last warning.
The following day, Ossai ran into Noine while coming from his secretary’s office. Noine allegedly dragged Ossai back to the office and called her a wicked woman.
Ossai said, “He said I looked like a mad person. After abusing me, he hit me on my neck twice. Then, without warning, he kicked my stomach with his knee. Some co-workers were there
but they did not intervene. I felt a sharp pain in my stomach.”
To cut the long story short, she was rushed to the hospital last week Monday (December 16, 2013) when she started bleeding profusely.
The mother of one was told her placenta had been damaged due to the kick her angry Lebanese boss gave her in the stomach.
“I didn’t know that my baby had died until two days after the surgery. I was told my baby lost his face too due to the kick.” – Ossai said
The case was reported to the police station. On getting to Ossai’s workplace, police officers were told her Lebanese boss had travelled out of the country.
“It took a long time for the complainant to report the matter. But we are investigating.” – said Ngozi Braide, Lagos state Police spokesperson
What a gross injustice! This type of assault is uncalled for.

RIP to the innocent baby.

Alariwo Of Africa Beaten By Lagos Area Boys For Ignoring Busola Oke, Eleyele

Nigerian artist Rotimi Martins aka Alariwo of Africa will forever remember December 19, 2013. According to sources, he was beaten mercilessly lastThursday by some area boys at the launch of the debut album of Ewade, wife of popular On-Air
Personality (OAP) Soji Omotayo.
Though the album launch was exciting but Alariwo, the master of ceremony got more than he bargained for when area boys descended on him.
The trouble started when he reportedly failed to acknowledge the presence of gospel music act, Busola Oke, alias Eleyele, at the album launch.
According to an eye witness account, Alariwo also asked the people whom he didn’t recognize to forward their names to him.
“Immediately, Eleyele told some people that Alariwo was fond of looking down on her at events. She equally disclosed that her age-long problem with Alariwo is due to the fact that she has refused to address him as ‘Brother’,” the source said.
However, what many could not explain was how the Area boys, who were outside the hall, got hint of what our source described as “Alariwo’s arrogant attitude.”
It was also gathered that immediately he wrapped up his performance and stepped out of the hall, the area boys descended on him mercilessly.
“He made an attempt to run for his dear life. He tried to seek cover in a building around the venue. While he was being beaten, the hoodlums screamed that he had disgraced Eleyele on
several occasions, so he deserved to be beaten,” he disclosed.

Morgan Freeman’s Photo Used For Nelson Mandela’s Tribute In India

The biggest mistake in billboard advert history has been spotted in India.
An Indian billboard ad used to pay tribute to late South African President, Nelson Mandela has a different photo in it.
The memorial placed in Coimbatore city displayed the photo of Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman instead of Nelson Mandela.

The condolence message on the Indian billboard reads:

“We should be proud that we were part of an era when they lived”

Morgan Freeman played the role of Nelson Mandela in 2009 movie titled Invictus which is probably the cause of the mistake.

A clothing merchant who sponsored the billboard has been notified.
This is probably the biggest mistake in billboard advertising.
There is little resemblance between Morgan Freeman and late Nelson Mandela.
The Hollywood actor won’t find this funny at all.

Bus Driver Killed By Woman Over 10 Naira In Benin City , Edo State

On Monday December 16th, 2013, a wicked bus passenger was arrested by Edo State police officials for allegedly killing an innocent bus driver over the weekend.
The young commercial bus driver identified as Eze was believed to be in his late 20′s while the woman that killed him is 38-year- old.
Last Saturday, Eze died when his bus passenger strangled him while holding on to his manhood.
It was reported that the young man identified as Eze was driving through Ohovbe Road, Off Benin Agbor Road, Ikpoba Hill in the early hours of Saturday. He decided to carry the said woman
to the junction of Ohovbe Road for N40 and the woman entered on agreement but on getting to the junction, the driver asked for his money and the woman paid N30 instead of N40. When the driver complained that the money is incomplete, the woman then told him that she cannot pay N40. Out of frustration and anger the driver cursed the woman and started calling her names like
ashawo, prostitute etc.
Angered by the name calling, the female passenger then held the driver’s neck while still inside the car. People then gathered to settle the dispute and the woman let go of his neck. Moments later, the woman returned to meet the driver who had his seat belt on and held his neck with one hand and used her other hand to hold his manhood and started pulling it.
The man begged the woman to leave him but the woman was even more angry by this time, passers by intervened again but it seems the evil deed has been done.
When the driver tried to come out of his car, he fell to the ground and started stretching and gasping for breath. People around rushed the driver to a nearby hospital while others whisked the woman to a nearby police station. The young man reportedly died few hours later.
Shame on the passers by who saw the woman holding and strangling the driver and doing nothing about it.
Her intention was to kill the driver and that’s exactly what she did.

What a wicked woman!

RIP Eze

ASUU Strike: FG Paid Nigerian Lecturers 6 Months Salaries For Undone Work

Its being 6 months of heartbreaking expectation from both the Federal Govt and the Academic staff union of Nigerian Universities(ASSU). For 6months we have heard stories like the strike would “soon be over”, I think that statement has being overused and it needs to be.
Synonymous to both FG/ ASSU. Countless times have heard the statement for 6months, a statement which is so deceitful and hope shattering to Nigerians.
The FG/ASSU should outline as matter of being responsible and moral explain to students and Nigerians the cushion effect they both have placed on ground to avoid future occurrence and also explain what they have in pipeline for the lost academic months for them.
Reports just being confirmed now is that the ASSU members have started receiving salaries for work they did not do, 6months salaries are being paid to them for sitting at home in the name of “strike”.
What are the plans the both parties have for students now is the question.
Its very clear now that nobody is paying attention to what the lecturers would be doing in the classrooms when they eventually resume full by January 2014.The compulsory anyhow marking of script, lecture notes being photocopied without the lecturers coming to classes and all that.
What is the Federal Government putting in place to Monitor lecturers that are practically not always present in the classrooms? Now lecturers are all happy that their salaries have started downloading into their accounts, where does that leave the students?
What about wasted months of house rents, delayed graveyard, wasted efforts in staying glued at home. What about students that have lost their lives during the strike? Who is saying anything?
I think we as Nigerians should know that you can’t eat your cake and have it, but i think both parties FG/ASSU has just gotten away with their tussle, they are sure having drinks as am writing you this.
No one is making a public apology to parents/students for wasted months.

“President Jonathan Should Resign, Obasanjo’s Letter Is The Truth” – Sheik Gumi

Islamic cleric and scholar Sheikh Ahmed Gumi has praised former President Olusegun Obasanjo for standing up for his conviction and for being bold to confront the government of President Goodluck Jonathan.
In the words of the Kaduna-based cleric, Mr. Obasanjo has “washed his hands off innocent blood” by speaking up against the lapses of the incumbent government. Last week, Mr. Obasanjo had leaked the contents of an 18-page letter filled with allegations of corruption, misrule, and dishonorable conduct against President Jonathan.
Speaking on Sahara TV over the weekend, Mr. Gumi defended Mr. Obasanjo’s position.
In a letter titled “Before It Is Too Late,” the former president expressed grave concern on President Jonathan manner of governance. He also accused the president of ineptitude and failure to deliver on his electoral promises to Nigerians. In addition, Mr. Obasanjo charged that President Jonathan had failed to curb corruption, had lost control of national security, and was promoting divisiveness.
Mr. Gumi endorsed Mr. Obasanjo’s position. “I expect all those retired generals who are languishing in their luxurious buildings
would come out and speak against what is happening in Nigeria.
Nobody did, so I hail this man and I am ready to forgive him for all the things he did against Nigeria,” Mr. Gumi said.
Responding to the issue of corruption during Mr. Obasanjo’s Presidency, the Islamic cleric admitted to SaharaTV’s Rudolf Okonkwo that there was corruption during Obasanjo’s tenure.
“There was corruption, yes,” he said. “But Obasanjo was not doing it to divide Nigeria. He was doing it to help himself and his friends.”
Some of Mr. Obasanjo’s critics have also noted that he “imposed” President Jonathan on Nigerians. But Mr. Gumi suggested that the motive of Mr. Obasanjo, a two-time head of
state, was to show Nigerians that anyone from any ethnic group, including minority groups, could become president. “The intention of Obasanjo, who fought the Biafran war, a war of secession from Nigeria, his intention was never to bring
somebody to break Nigeria,” he said.
He sharply blamed President Jonathan for doing little to curb corruption in his government and also for his lackadaisical approach to the security crisis in the north-eastern part of Nigeria. In a veiled reference to the scandal involving Aviation
Minister Stella Oduah, who spent $1.6 million ostensibly to acquire two bullet-proof cars, Mr. Gumi asked, “How can the [National] Assembly investigate a case of fraud by one Minister and convict the Minister, yet the President [is] taking no action about that?”
The firebrand Islamic scholar also indicted President Jonathan for hiding behind terror attacks by the Islamist group, Boko Haram, to unleash his own brand of terror on Nigerians. He
alleged that a series of bombings across northern Nigeria, which seemed to have been perpetuated by Boko Haram, were actually carried out by security operatives under President Jonathan’s command. “Boko Haram are people from the north-eastern part of Nigeria. And if you can remember, or if you can even hear their language, you know that they are from the north-eastern part. If they want to fight the president because he is a southerner or a Christian, they will go to southern states and
Christian states to fight him there. They will not be exploding bombs in their own towns,” the sheikh said. He added that Mr. Jonathan belongs to a faction of Nigerians hell-bent on seceding
from and breaking up the Nigerian federation.
Presenting three scenarios all of which entailed Mr. Jonathan losing power, the Islamic cleric stated that Mr. Obasanjo’s letter spells doom for the president’s electoral chances in 2015. He
said that Mr. Jonathan’s options are to resign, to be impeached, or to risk being humiliated at the polls in 2015. He advised the embattled president to choose the first option.
“I don’t think anybody can stand up now and say he will campaign for Jonathan. It is finished. So the best way for him is to resign,” Mr. Gumi said. He argued that Mr. Jonathan should seriously consider the first option because Nigerians cannot be ruled by force anymore. “Nobody will rule us again with a rigged election,” he said.

Impeachment Threat: President Jonathan Warns APC Party Leaders

Here is an official letter received from the Presidency in Abuja this afternoon over an impeachment move against Jonathan from the leaders of All Progressives Congress, APC party.
We have noted with utter disdain, the reckless and irresponsible call by the APC on Sunday for the National Assembly to commence impeachment proceedings against President Goodluck Jonathan.
Ordinarily, we would not have dignified Alhaji Lai
Mohammed’s latest vituperations in the service of his paymasters with a response, but we thought it necessary to warn that the Federal Government will not standby idly and let the nation be plunged into unnecessary crises and political instability because of the desperation and apparent readiness of the APC spokesman and his gang of power-seeking desperadoes to sacrifice the well-being of the country on the altar of their selfish personal ambitions.
The Presidency totally condemns the decision by Alhaji Mohammed and his party to move further beyond the bounds of honourable and acceptable political conduct with the senseless call for the impeachment of a President who continues to
sincerely devote himself to the discharge of the sacred mandate freely given to him by Nigerians.
The APC, which remains a minority party with doubtful credentials in the National Assembly, knows fully well that its attempt to hector and blackmail a Parliament dominated by loyal
members of the President’s party, the PDP, into an
impeachment process, will come to nothing.
But it has cavalierly embarked on this outrageous gambit, with scant regard for peace, order, security and political stability in the country, in furtherance of its dastardly and heinous strategy
of over-heating the polity and working to cause public disaffection against the Jonathan Presidency with lies, false accusations and unjustifiable indictments ahead of the 2015
general elections.
The emptiness and hollowness of the APC’s call for President Jonathan’s impeachment will be obvious to all objective and discerning Nigerians who read through the statement issued by Alhaji Mohammed today. It was long on self-serving rhetoric and falsehoods, but lacked a single clearly defined charge on the basis of which any plausible impeachment proceedings against the President can be initiated.
All that the APC could offer in justification of its absurd and hare-brained impeachment call was a rehash of its well-worn litany of baseless accusations against the President, including some for which culpability should be laid squarely at the
doorsteps of its own leaders and some of their new friends.
The Presidency also considers it utterly deplorable that the APC has, in its Machiavellian desperation to seize control of the Federal Government, recklessly assailed the integrity and honour of the Nigerian Judiciary in a callous attempt to pre-empt the outcome of the case legitimately brought against it by some of its new friends by the PDP.
Alhaji Mohammed’s unscrupulous effort to drag the nation’s judiciary into its murky political warfare and his readiness to intimidate and blackmail members of the bench so as to secure a
favourable outcome for his party in the pending case clearly shows that nothing is beyond the pale for him and the APC in pursuit of their quest for power.
The Jonathan Administration does not need Lai Mohammed or the APC to remind it of its constitutional responsibility for the security and well-being of Nigerians. The President will continue to do his utmost best to achieve positive national transformation in all areas in spite of efforts by the opposition to thwart or disparage the work of his administration.
In this regard, we have noted the undisguised threat by the APC to foster public insurrection against the Federal Government if pending legal cases go against it. We urge Nigerians to take
special note of this boastful indication of an intention to resort to lawlessness.
The Presidency warns that the APC and any persons who make themselves its willing tools for the breach of public order and safety will be made to face the full sanctions of the law. Those who are threatening fire and brimstone should be ready for consequences of treasonable action.
The APC’s false copy-cat allegation that 1, 000 snipers are being trained by the Jonathan Administration clearly shows that they are now in cahoots with some other elements who are bent
on discrediting this administration and inciting the public against it.
President Jonathan is running a people’s government. He does not need any snipers. His legitimacy comes from the people.
Those who are alleging the existence of snipers should step forward and provide the evidence or shut up forever and go down in history as spineless cowards, driven by sheer greed and indecency.
We dismiss the APC’s call for the President’s impeachment as opportunistic, partisan and ill-motivated.
We call on patriots to make the necessary distinction between such reckless violations of civic duty and the urgent need to protect the integrity of the Nigerian nation against those who for selfish reasons have declared their readiness to stop at nothing.
