P-Square’s Peter & Paul Okoye Get White Hat Awards In Calgary Canada After Concert

Nigerian musical duo Peter and Paul Okoye are the latest recipients of a popular merit award in Canada.
After their ground breaking concert performance in Calgary, the twin brothers were given an official Calgary cowboy hat and officially sworn in as honorary Calgarians.
This is a merit award given to foreigners to spread Calgary’s hospitality brand worldwide.
The ceremony is a symbol of the city of Calgary. This tradition is alive for over 50 years. Many foreign celebrities and VIPs who visited Calagary have been ‘white hatted’ during the years.
The Honorary White Hat Awards recognize individuals and organizations that have shown a long-term commitment to the hospitality and tourism industry, and have strengthened Calgary’s reputation as a world-class city.
It’s done by nomination and not at random.
P-Square were actually nominated for the awards by Nigerians in Calgary earlier in the year.

Here are few photos of P-Square in Calgary

I know Peter Okoye will do something extraordinary. Loves his swag.
